Courtney Glymph - Founder and Managing Director

Courtney is an experienced and commercially driven communications professional. She founded YourStoryPR in 2019, identifying a gap in the market for flexible and results-driven agencies that can respond to the ever-evolving and complex needs of some of the world's most brilliant and successful SMEs and startups.

With over 15 years of experience in a variety of in-house and agency roles in the US and the UK, Courtney is well-versed in all aspects of PR and Communications. Throughout her career, Courtney has worked for large global corporations such as CA Technologies, Automic Software, PwC, and dynamic startups and venture capital firms.

Jonathan Lenz - Media Relations Director

Jonathan has over 13 years’ global experience across B2B and tech communications campaigns. A real media hound, he has extensive media relations experience across press including national business, marketing and customer experience. Jonathan has the ability to identify what constitutes a story, giving journalists what they need, and helping brands develop their own narrative that translates to tangible and significant brand awareness. He is passionate about how brands in the digital era are using technology to get ahead and engage with their target audiences.


Adisa Amanor-Wilks - Senior Consultant

Adisa is a senior communications professional helping companies and individuals to share their purpose in meaningful ways. She provides strategic communications to leading organisations in fintech, aviation, energy, fisheries, charities and has led notable projects in international crisis management.

Over the last 20 years, Adisa has worked across the public and private sectors in the UK, US, Middle East and Africa.

Sharmee Mavadia - Senior Consultant

Sharmee is a media engagement specialist with over a decade’s experience delivering quality coverage and opportunities for B2B, Financial and Technology companies. She has strong media relationships across national, trade, finance, technology, retail and HR press.

Sharmee’s focus on relationship-building with the media, excellent news sense as well creating tactical content has resulted in positive media coverage and successful client campaigns. These range from launching enterprise level technology products and using data to create barometers to raising brand awareness for SMEs and profile opportunities.

Notable clients include: Toyota/Lexus, PeoplePerHour, Microsoft, Vodafone, Emolument, BT and Morgan Mckinley.


Sophie Chadwick - Senior Consultant

Sophie Chadwick is a seasoned communications professional, with over a decade’s experience in PR. She started her career in-house at a leading tech firm before moving into agency life, where she quickly rose through the ranks from executive to director level. She has extensive experience in developing and delivering award winning campaigns for clients across a range of sectors – both B2B and B2C.

Sophie lives in Cheshire with her husband, toddler and bulldog. When she’s not working, you can find her at the theatre or jetting out of rainy Manchester and off to warmer climes.


Josh Turner - Head of Editorial

Josh Turner is a writer specialising in marketing and communications content for technology brands. With a background in PR, and 15 years working both in-house and for leading agencies, he has significant experience in planning and creating content that brings technology stories to life and engages with target audiences.

He has always had writing-related jobs, going right back to his time drafting quiz questions for a popular TV quiz show. If you hire us, he will tell you which one.


Joanna Drake - Senior Consultant

Joanna Drake is an experienced communications consultant, with over 15 years’ experience in PR. She started her career in journalism before moving to in house communications positions in the NHS and a large events venue before moving into agency work. She has extensive experience in strategic brand development and delivering multi-channel PR and marketing campaigns. Brands she has worked with include M&S, easyJet, Specsavers, Bear Grylls Survival Academy, Muse Developments and Gateley LLP.

Jo lives in Cheshire with her husband and their two children. She’s a coastal girl at heart and likes to escape to north Wales whenever she can for her dose of vitamin sea.


Jo Detavernier - Senior Consultant

Jo has over 15 years of experience designing and managing B2B communication campaigns in both the European and U.S. markets. Jo has helped companies in sectors as diverse as food, financial services, professional services and software development. Jo is both SCMP (IABC) and APR (PRSA) certified and is a contributor to the second edition of the Handbook on Crisis Communication (forthcoming).


Chris O'Gorman - Digital Director

Chris is an award-winning digital strategist specialising in organic and paid social with thirteen years’ experience both in-house and agency side. Chris plans and leads campaigns for a diverse range of clients, from some of the world’s biggest brands to emerging start-ups in a broad range of sectors. He has successfully developed dozens of powerful digital brands and driving millions in revenue with a proven track record of innovation.

Ferguson - Communications Consultant

Skye is a UK based PR & strategic communications consultant with over ten years' experience in European, Middle Eastern and African markets. She has provided consultancy to leading organisations across industries including finance, aviation, oil & gas, technology, education, NGOs and more.

Skye is based in London and loves Crossfit, travel and watching anything at the cinema!


Rebecca Fitzgerald - Communications Associate

Rebecca is a creative, multidisciplinary PR Executive with a track record supporting clients in both the B2B and B2C industries.

She has over 5 years of experience within the PR industry securing coverage in key national, consumer and trade titles for clients in a range of niches and sectors including artificial intelligence, fintech, HR, health, wellbeing and beauty. Rebecca is particularly interested in the intersection of SEO and PR, and measuring the impact of PR campaigns.

Outside of her PR work, Rebecca is a business savvy entrepreneur, having placed as a finalist in multiple business competitions, and is currently working on the release of a skincare range for Gen-Z suffering from eczema and acne.
